In cooperation with EIT Food, on 12 November we organized a networking event for members of the agricultural innovation ecosystem, which brought together a large number of farmers, students, technologists, scientists, and enthusiasts from various fields related to food production and sustainable agriculture.

The networking event is part of the EIT Food Startup Awareness program, which we have been implementing for the third consecutive year with the aim of strengthening the local innovation community and encouraging the development of sustainable solutions in the food sector.

During the event, numerous current initiatives in the field of agricultural innovation were presented, along with inspiring and successful stories of local producers who, through their work, contribute to the advancement of domestic agriculture and to changes in food production practices.

A special focus of the event was to create space for discussion about the current challenges and opportunities within the local agricultural system, as well as to introduce participants to the activities and opportunities that EIT Food offers through its programs.

The winners of this year’s Challenge Lab hackathon also participated, having the opportunity to present their unique ideas and solutions for improving agriculture and the food system to a wider audience from the innovation sector.

The event provided a unique opportunity for networking, the exchange of experiences, familiarization with available support programs and potential funding opportunities for innovative ideas, and it opened the path toward new partnerships and collaborations.
